//pixierixie*: I like sex.
axls:
I really do.
Not just /doing it/ per se, but everything else that comes along with it.
If you’re looking at sex as just getting dick or pussy, then I’m afraid you’re missing half the fun, in my honest opinion. Yes, it’s still good, but that can’t be all right? Because sex isn’t just about that. Why don’t you view it as the ultimate (not drug induced) trip for the senses that it is?
Because it IS a trip for the senses. As your heart rate rises at an alarmingly uncontrollable rate and you and your partner forget how to breathe, you find yourself feeling that your fingers are trembling with excitement, but you’re actually handling your partner with unerring deftness. You can feel your body quite literally being overwhelmed by hormones, so much so you can swear you feel it in the air around your hot steaming bodies. And then all the sexual tension that’s been building up will gloriously explode at first contact, when your fingers lightly touch her skin, when you lightly bite his earlobe, when you breathe into each other’s neck. You’ll feel like you’re generating enough electricity to keep a house running for days…
And then she’s on top of you, grinding away like a cowgirl, and you see her in all her naked glory. She’s covered in a thin layer of sweat that makes her skin have this glossy shine that makes her look like the goddess she is. Sex gives you a new perspective in the beauty of anatomy, too. You’ll see and feel how the muscles are contracting and relaxing in a seemingly chaotic but actually well timed rhythms. You’ll feel how sexy she is and how ripped and hard his body has become. Need I mention the positions you can get into? Plus the fact that you’re subjected to waves of pleasure that come again and again and again and again makes it all the more trippy. (my personal favorite is watching her eyelids quiver)
To hear her gasping in ecstasy, pleading you to go faster and deeper, to hear him call upon whatever god he worships because of something you did right? Music to the ears.
Plus the psychology of it all amazes me. The feeling of dominating, pleasuring, or submitting to someone makes sex all the more exciting. Plus you can feel your base animal instincts stirring, too. But sex isn’t nearly as good when you know you’re not having fun. Sex isn’t as good when you’re not comfortable with your partner. It isn’t as good when you know it isn’t with someone right (at least in the moment). And quite frankly, sex isn’t as good when you’re the one doing all the work, and your partner is just lying down there. It’s a game of give and take, equal parts give and equal parts take. A meet me halfway kind of thing. Like Christmas, or something.
And, in the end, you’re rewarded by time-warping, face-melting orgasms that have the potential to give your mind one millisecond of pure, unadulterated freedom from thought. It’s like the universe blinks for one fraction of a second and it forgets your existence, and then you come back, quaking and shivering from pleasure, all the fucking feeling lost in your legs. Try walking after that.
I like sex.
